DAY 3 of The 12 Days of DIYs — DIY Snowy Glitter Trees – Target Hack
When I saw the various sizes of glitter trees at Target, they almost immediately turned into an impulse buy. Thankfully my mom was shopping with me at the time and suggested making my own version. I immediately decided to take on the challenge. I mean, how often do we buy items that we could easily recreate for less money, probably better quality, and more unique? Oh and how many times do we say we will recreate something, then never find the time? Well this time was going to be different! I started scouring the internet for pre-made trees that I could adhere the glitter to, but I found nothing. I brainstormed for a few days then came up with this simple, affordable version! I got all the supplies from Michaels for under $34. This is the total of all of the supplies I bought, before the coupons were applied. Be sure to download the Michaels app, check out their website and mailers. You can really save a lot of money, especially with the 40-50% off one item coupons. I used one of these on the $9.99 spray glue! That reduces your DIY price significantly! Head on over to Jeneral Relativity for the whole tutorial!
